Land use planning and governance in action in France :

Our excellent results in Loire Atlantique for the Cap Atlantique County give us the opportunity to contribute to the Public Stakeholder participation at national and international levels.

Urban planning in coastal zones

with a rich cultural heritage :

· Small villages face seasonal tourism challenges and need to solve problems of traffic congestion.

· Coastal erosion management of an historical pedestrian area : we contributed to the strategy and the implementation of the remediation of the coastal road. More on Inauguration des Aménagements littoraux au Pouliguen

EU Water Directive :

· Bay of the Scall : The necessary measures were taken to preserve the specific ecosystem of this bay during the heavy hydraulic works of the Livery wastewater treatment plant. More on Qualité de l'eau. For instance Crambe Maritima, protected at the national level, shows the southern limit of the Britany climate zone in this bay.

· Salt marshes protection : Salt comes from water, wind and sun interaction; pollution of water and air are the main threats to this successful sustainable activity, which attracts tourists.
